Picking Poppy Page 7
His thick shaft stretched her tight channel. The sensations balanced on a razor’s edge between pleasure and pain. Poppy’s eyes closed as his fingers slid between their bodies to begin to brush against her clitoris, distracting her completely from any discomfort as he forced her to concentrate on the feelings flooding through her. Each touch brought her more pleasure as he began to slide in and out of her.
It was raw. It was fast. When her daddy’s hand smacked her lifted, red bottom, the newest Little came with such force that she blacked out from the pleasure.
Chapter 16
She had woken up in her daddy’s embrace. She loved the rapid thud of his heartbeat under her ear. The thigh of his jeans was wet under her hips as she shifted groggily on his lap. Knowing that she had caused his heart to race, Poppy slid her arms under his to wrap around his trim waist. She wanted to stay warm and sheltered in his arms forever.
Tyler didn’t seem to be in a hurry as he rocked her slightly back and forth on his lap. His lips kissed the top of her blonde hair. Tentatively, Poppy flexed her thighs, feeling the zing of lingering pleasure.
As if he could read her movement, Tyler softly commented, “We need to get you home and in a warm bath, little girl.”
Smiling against his chest, Poppy’s thoughts focused on how much she wanted him to take care of her as well. The look of disappointment on his face when she had spoken rudely to him flashed into her mind. She leaned back in his arms to look at his face. “I’m sorry,” she whispered once again. This was all so new to her. Could the spanking actually erase her words?
“All has been forgiven, blossom. Little girls mess up. Their daddies correct their behavior, and they move on.” A stern look overtook the nurturing expression on his face. “A pattern of behavior will be dealt with more severely than an unthinking reaction. You do not wish to have this same discussion with me again,” he warned.
Her head vigorously shook no before her daddy even finished his warning. “No, Daddy! I promise to speak better to you.”
“That is all I can ask.” The strict expression eased from his face as he pulled her forward to claim her lips hungrily. The heat flared immediately between them. All too soon, she felt him set her back as he dragged his lips from hers.
“Let’s get you ready to go home, blossom,” he said, lifting her up to stand unsteadily on her feet. Tyler leaned over to pull up the jeans and her underwear that had become a crumpled mess around her ankles. As his face neared that slight mound between her thighs, he kissed her sparsely hair-covered flesh lightly. “When you’re ready to be Little always, I’ll erase this sign of being an adult.”
“I’m ready to be Little now, Daddy,” she rushed to reassure him as the memory of his previous words rushed back into her mind. Would he change his mind about her if they weren’t together? She watched him closely, trying to read his thoughts as he stood up and smoothed her clothing back into place. Only when he was finished did he respond.
“Twenty-four hours, blossom,” he answered softly. “This is a big decision. I want you to make sure that you are ready to become Little and aren’t just playacting a role you’ve fantasized about. It’s an enormous step to move from books that turned you on to living a life as a Little.”
“But, Daddy, really…” she began only to stop at the stern look on his face.
“Daddies know when Littles need time to think. This is your time. Tomorrow after closing time, I will meet you at your house. I’ll look forward to hearing about your decision then. For now, finish anything you need to close the shop. I assume the blue car in back is yours?” he asked.
When she nodded unhappily, he continued, “Then I’ll follow you home to make sure you get there safely.”
Within minutes, she was on the road back to her small house. Her eyes repeatedly drifted to the white sedan following her at a safe distance. Could she try to convince him to stay? Yawning in exhaustion at all the events that had taken place in the last forty-eight hours, she knew that his mind was made up. He wanted her to be sure that she could submit totally to him.
Minutes later, she watched his taillights disappear from view. Poppy turned to go undress and slide into the tub that he had begun filling for her when he’d walked through the house to make sure everything was safe. Smiling, she knew now by that caring gesture, he had wished to stay with her.
She’d wait for twenty-four hours and then she’d come up with some way to make him pay him for the delay. Imagining squirt gun attacks and whoopie cushions, Poppy locked the front door and wandered back to her bedroom. Soon lying in the warm water that soothed the soreness between her thighs, she sent him a mental hug. Already, her daddy knew just what she needed.
Chapter 17
That next evening when she closed the store at seven o’clock, Poppy’s eyes searched the parking lot for the one-hundredth time. She’d missed her daddy so much today. Having him in the shop with her, even if he was just typing in her office had been wonderful yesterday. She hadn’t realized how lonely Posies by Poppy could be.
Stepping back into the store, she carefully locked the door and turned the sign to closed. Poppy operated on automatic. She flipped off the lights and pulled the till from the cash register. In her office, she sat down at the chair that her daddy had occupied yesterday, twisting the chair to face the safe tucked beside it. After slamming it securely, she turned around to see a handwritten, numbered list sitting on her desk.
Her mind had whirled with thoughts throughout the day. Tyler had given her the task of making sure that she genuinely wanted to be a Little. Although her mind functioned more along abstract lines, she had forced herself to make this list of the pros and cons. All day long, she’d added to the list. As she stood to walk out to her car, Poppy folded the list and tucked it in her pocket.
Poppy leaned over to grab her purse from the desk drawer in her office. A loud, grating sound filled the room as she pulled out the drawer. Sticking her tongue out at the old desk, she grabbed her purse and hurried from the office. At the backdoor, she locked it securely with her key before running her hand through her fine blonde hair to push it out of her face as she walked into the back parking lot.
Climbing into the blue car, she dropped her head against the steering wheel. What if she didn’t see him again? She had been sure that he’d come by sometime today. Forcing herself to sit up, she started the car and headed home. The familiar route faded into the back of her mind as she drove on automatic pilot, thinking of the man who had become so important in such a short time.
If he was still willing to be her daddy, there wasn’t a doubt left in her mind. Their lives meshed together perfectly. He’d worked independently in her office yesterday. Other than asking for her WiFi password, he hadn’t disturbed her except to take her out to SANCTUM for lunch and to announce that it was time to close the shop. His presence had soothed her. She had loved having him there.
That seemed laughable for an evening that had contained a serious spanking. Disciplined for the first time, the thought that he had a calming influence on her might be impossible for others to believe, but not to her. Poppy shifted back and forth on her bottom in the contoured seat. The sore spots were proof to herself that he cared. She had earned the spanking, and he’d taken care of her even when she made the wrong choice. He hadn’t left and written her off. Tyler cared about her. Her daddy was there for the good and the bad.
Her mind drifted to his plans for the rooms upstairs. Each time she’d used the restroom, Poppy had glanced into the room he had determined would be her nursery. She would have loved to take a nap during the afternoon break. Instead, she’d run to get coffee and spent the rest of the afternoon jittery as her body tried to deal with the caffeine. After snapping the third stem, she’d made herself leave the floral arrangements for later and had been forced to do paperwork.
Turning the final corner, she looked down the long road. Were those lights in her driveway? She sped up slightly, hoping that he would be there. A brilliant s
mile spread over her face as she got closer. He was here. He hadn’t given up on her. Slamming the car into park, she’d flung open the door and raced to throw herself into his arms.
“Whoa, blossom!” he began as she ran toward him. She smiled as he dropped the overnight duffle and pizza box to the ground instantly, stepping forward to meet her with his arms spread wide. Tyler caught her, wrapping his arms tightly around her as he staggered back a step from the enthusiastic impact. His warm laugh let her know that he wasn’t angry with her.
“I missed you so much,” she whispered. As soon as she had seen him, tears had begun to cascade down her cheeks. It wasn’t a sad cry. She was so happy. All her worries throughout the day seemed to escape. She lifted her lips to his and moaned as his mouth captured hers. He tasted so good.
Chapter 18
Holding his delicate blossom securely in his arms, Tyler celebrated with his Little. From her greeting, he had no doubts that she had missed him. As his lips seduced her, Tyler showed Poppy just how much he had missed her as well. The night and day had felt like three days apart. It had taken a lot of determination to allow her time to think. This had to be her decision.
“I missed you as well, little girl,” he whispered against her lips several heated minutes later. Hugging her close one last time, he lowered her carefully to the ground. “Invite me inside. Your neighbors are wondering who the strange man in your life is,” he teased. He knew his smile revealed his pleasure in her unbridled greeting.
The automatic lighting on the front of her house revealed her blush as she quickly glanced around. She caught the twitch of curtains, betraying the curiosity of several onlookers in the surrounding homes. Enchanted by his Little’s embarrassment, Tyler pulled her close to press a quick kiss on her forehead.
“You get the pizza, and I’ll grab one last thing from my car,” he suggested with a wink.
When she nodded, he bent to rescue the pizza still nestled in its box and his duffle. Passing her the pizza, he jogged to his car and opened the passenger door. Aware that Poppy trailed after him, he stepped back slightly to reveal the beautiful arrangement of red tulips that he had sneakily ordered under Samantha’s name. The beautiful glass vase was strapped securely against the seat.
“You? The tulips were for you?” she gasped with astonishment. Rushing forward, she pushed the pizza box into his hands as she leaned in to pluck the beautiful arrangement from the seat. She hugged the vase to her tummy as she checked the flowers for any damage.
“No, blossom. The flowers are for you.” His voice was low and intimate, drawing her attention from the beauty in her hands. Moving her out of the way, he closed the door and locked the car. “Go turn off your car and grab your things,” he directed, dropping the battered pizza box to the ground again to accept the obvious responsibility of safeguarding the flowers.
When she had accomplished her task and bashfully returned to his side, the amused Daddy gestured toward the house with his duffle and a raised eyebrow. This time his suggestion worked. Poppy leaned over to grab the pizza before sliding her other hand under his arm to urge him toward the door.
Tyler allowed himself to be tugged forward at a brisk pace. Once inside, she dropped the pizza on the coffee table and claimed the tulips once again. After setting them gingerly on the table, Tyler watched his Little step back and smile at the beauty of her arrangement.
“I’m glad you like the tulips.” He grinned as he dropped his duffle on the ground.
Poppy happily nodded and bounced over to press a quick peck on his lips. “Thank you. They’re my favorites. I was so jealous of making this for someone else. I still made it as gorgeous as possible, of course. But, jealous!”
“I did some research. I had no idea that different flowers mean different things,” he mentioned, deliberately offhand.
She froze in front of him. Tyler watched her eyes try to read his face before she whispered, “Do you know what red tulips mean?”
“I do. Why don’t you tell me what red tulips mean to you?” he probed.
“Passion. Undying love. Perfect love,” she answered, stressing each word or phrase as if it were the most important emotion to her.
When Tyler nodded his agreement, tears began to course down Poppy’s face once again. Concerned, he picked her up and carried her to the couch to cuddle on his lap. “Shhh! Blossom, that’s not supposed to make you sad. Those are wonderful sentiments.”
“I know,” she answered in a voice trembling with emotion. “I didn’t think tulips would ever be right for me.” Poppy paused. Her struggle to find the right words played over her expressive face.
Tyler didn’t interrupt or hurry her. Wiping the tears from her cheeks, he waited for her to tell him whatever she needed to say. After several long breaths, she continued, meeting his eyes bravely, “We haven’t known each other for long. It sounds stupid but, I already know…I love you!”
Passionately, Tyler claimed her with a fiery kiss. When they were both panting, he tenderly cupped her face. “That’s the way it’s supposed to be, blossom. We were made to be a perfect match. I love you, and you love me. Did you have enough time to consider everything? Can you be happy with me? Being my little girl?”
The joy on his Little’s face would be his best memory ever as she decisively answered, “Yes, Daddy!”
Chapter 19
I think I’ll say, “Yes, Daddy” a lot, Poppy decided when Tyler finally released her from his celebratory bear hug. As they began to plan for their future together, Poppy couldn’t stop smiling. Her daddy immediately took over, declaring that she needed to eat as they talked.
After pouring two glasses of milk and prying the cheese of the battered pizza from the top of the box, Tyler set Poppy on his lap and began to feed her. When she could only eat one piece, he required that she finish her milk. Poppy hadn’t argued but had sipped at the milk obediently. Her bottom was too sore to earn another spanking.
She’d have done anything for this man who offered her so much. Her eyes wandered over to the red tulips on the nearby table. They weren’t frilly flowers. They were simple—a red blossom atop a long green stem. The fact that he had researched the meaning of flowers meant so much to her. It showed that he cared about what was important to her.
Cuddling against his chest, Poppy listened to the rumble of his voice. The words didn’t matter. Her daddy was with her. Eyes drifting shut from sheer exhaustion, the little girl knew that she had been on edge all day. She’d waited and hoped for him to appear. As each minute had clicked by, she had become tenser.
“I think a certain little girl needs to go to sleep,” Tyler commented as he tenderly rubbed her back.
“I’m not sleepy,” she protested as she sat up to rub her eyes. “Don’t go.”
“Daddy’s going to sleep here with you tonight. Then, tomorrow night, you’ll come to Daddy’s house to see your nursery,” Tyler reassured her as he scooped her up in his arms and stood to carry her to the bathroom.
That thought woke her up quickly. “I have a nursery?” she asked with wide eyes.
“Yes, blossom. The nursery has been waiting for a special little girl for many years. I think you’ll like it.” Tyler sat her on the bathroom vanity to take off her shoes and socks. When Poppy tried to help, she froze immediately at her daddy’s “no.” She knew what happened if she ignored his directions.
Once she was standing on the small bathroom rug, Tyler stepped away after a peck on the top of her head to begin filling the tub with warm water. When he returned, she was standing in exactly the same spot. She met his eyes and smiled. “I didn’t move, Daddy. I waited for you.”
“Thank you, blossom. You are a very good little girl,” he complimented before giving her a hug.
A thrill of happiness zinged through her at his simple words. She wanted to be good for him. Poppy was learning how to make her daddy happy. Although it was tough not to try to help, she allowed Tyler to remove her t-shirt and jeans. She shivered slightly as she
stood in her bra and panties. Her fingers clenched next to her hips as she tried not to cover herself from his view.
Struggling to stand straight as his eyes swept over her slight frame, Poppy held her breath. It was easier to let Tyler look at her than it had been the first time. Still, her desire to please him kept those old doubts circling in her mind. Would she be good enough for him?
As Tyler’s hands swept behind her to unfasten her bra, his admiring eyes met hers. You are also the most beautiful Little I have ever seen. I am so lucky to have you,” he said before softly kissing her pink lips.
Distracted, she missed his skilled fingers unfastening her bra. As he moved slightly away, she stared at him, bemused by his seductive kisses. When he mentioned that little girls don’t wear bras and that she didn’t need to wear one anymore, Poppy nodded automatically. She would have agreed to just about anything.
Tyler hooked his fingers into the side of her final piece of clothing. Slowly, he pulled the pink polka dot panties down her slender legs. Standing in front of his admiring eyes, Poppy knew he didn’t see the flaws that she always focused on. She basked in the heat that radiated from his gaze.
“Step, blossom,” he instructed as he helped her step from the panties. “No more panties either, little girl,” he informed her as he tossed them over his shoulder to land on the floor.
Her eyes were riveted on that crumpled scrap of material discarded at the side of the room. She swallowed hard. Can I throw away everything that makes me grownup that easily? A warm hand brushed down her back to cup one small buttock. Her eyes jerked away from the panties to meet his. Immediately, her tension eased.
