  Chapter One

April Heaven looked into the security camera and zoomed in on Abigail. She didn’t know what it was about this chubby, pink cheeked young lady that made her look forward to the days that Abigail would be at the salon. She had other receptionists and cashiers that were much more polished and overtly beautiful, but Abigail always drew her attention.

Today, Abigail was stocking the shelves with the designer shampoos and other hair and beauty products that April’s beauty salon, Heaven on Earth, carried. Abigail was very dedicated. She always did her best. April knew that the bottles would all be turned perfectly to display their label and that any dust that dared to land on the displays would be whisked away thoroughly.

April watched her lean down repeatedly to unpack the boxes unwittingly presenting her round bottom for April to see and admire. April had no idea whether Abigail had a boyfriend or a girlfriend. She didn’t share personal information with any of the other employees. She was very nice, fun to have around, and with a ready laugh. Abigail seemed to enjoy life one minute at a time. She didn’t even check the weekly schedule preferring to look each day she was at the salon to see when she should return.

Slowly, April watched business slow down as they reached closing time. Customers left and the beauticians and the aestheticians closed their areas. Finally, it was just April and Abigail. April left her office. She had a plan to get to know Abigail better.

“Well, Abigail, another Friday night and everyone has left us alone. Are you in a hurry to go home tonight? I have a job I could use your help to finish.” April asked with a smile.

Abigail hesitated for a few seconds. “I just need to catch the last bus at ten. Would it be okay for me to leave at 9:45 so I can walk to the bus stop?” Abigail asked slowly. She didn’t know how to read her boss. She always seemed to be watching her. Abigail knew that it wasn’t because she was a bad employee. She just couldn’t figure it out.

“I’ll be glad to give you a ride home. That way you won’t have to wait in the dark,” April answered easily. She’d already driven past the address that Abigail had listed on her application. It was in an older part of town but the house looked respectable.

“Oh, no. I couldn’t bother you to take me home. The bus is fine,” Abigail rushed to protest.

“All right. Come with me. I want you to help me do some inventory in the stockroom. I’ve noticed that you’re very organized and I could use some help,” April led her back to the stockroom.

  Chapter Two

They walked into the stockroom. It was piled with boxes all around the big room. April picked up a clipboard full of papers and a thick marker.

“What I need to do is double check that all the stock that we think is still here hasn’t walked away somehow. Here, take this marker,” April handed the broad tipped black marker to Abigail. “Mark each one with a big X and we’ll know we counted that one. Let’s start with hair dye.”

The two women worked together well and forged their way through the stockroom. Periodically, Abigail looked at the clock. Soon, however, they were entrenched in the job and time flowed past. The next time she looked at her watch, Abigail noticed it was 9:55.

“Oh, no! I’m sorry, I have to go. I have five minutes to make it to the bus stop. I’ll see you tomorrow,” Abigail said panicking as she handed the marker back to April and ran to the door. Trying the handle, Abigail shook it several times to double check before asking, “Ms. Heaven, do you have the key. The door is locked.”

“No, I don’t have my keys. I left them in the office. That door shouldn’t be locked. Are you sure?” April asked as she walked to the door.

Abigail whacked herself on the forehead, “I think I locked the door when I restocked the shelves. I am so fired. I’ve locked us in here. How are we going to get out?”

“You’re not fired. Thank you for protecting the stock by locking the door. We must have moved some boxes and pushed it shut. It’s not your fault. I’m sorry too for keeping you here past your time to get off work. I don’t even have my cell phone to let you call your family and let them know that you’re okay. The cleaning crew will come tomorrow morning at six. They can let us out then. Will your family be worried?” April asked.

“No, I don’t really have a family. No one will worry. How about you?” Abigail asked.

“My family all lives about a hundred miles from here. My puppy is at the neighbor’s house. They’ll just think I worked late and they’ll keep him until tomorrow morning,” April explained. “That’s a pretty big house that you live in all alone.”

Abigail changed the subject to distract her, “I love puppies! What kind do you have?”

“Bruno is a big mutt. He has gigantic feet so everyone tells me that he’s going to be a monster. Right now, he’s about ten pounds of wiggling fur. He’s pretty adorable,” April smiled. “Now, what are we going to do until the cleaners come?”

“I guess we could finish the inventory,” Abigail said. Suddenly, she smiled, “I’ve never clocked out so you are technically still paying me.”

“If you had clocked out, I would make sure your time locked in here with me is on your paycheck. I am sorry to ruin your Friday night, Abigail,” April said seriously. “Hey, I wonder if it is still here.” April climbed to the top of the built-in shelves. She was totally unaware that her employee below was looking attentively at her slender bottom that was revealed by the stretch of her black pants as she climbed. Too soon for someone, April reached to the very back before shouting, “Amazing!” She eased back down carrying two bottles of wine under her arms.

“I hid these way in the back a couple of years ago after a special event we held here. I was sure that these would have been discovered by now but we’re in luck! Do you drink wine, Abigail?” April asked. “Are you old enough?”

“I’m twenty-four,” Abigail answered. “I’m not a big anything drinker,” she explained. She didn’t want to get drunk around her boss. She was
afraid that she’d say something she shouldn’t. Drunk mouths often revealed secrets that should stay hidden. She watched April find some plastic cups and she opened one of the bottles pouring a hefty amount into each cup.

“I’m sorry that I don’t have any fancy wine glasses,” April excused. She noticed that Abigail was standing very rigid showing that she was uncomfortable. “Abigail, you don’t have to drink the wine if you don’t want it. Can you just forget that I’m your boss and we’ll just pretend that we are strangers trapped in an locked room filled with boxes?” April raised her cup and took a large drink. “Hey, it’s not bad.”

“It would be hard to forget that you’re the boss,” Abigail said almost as if to remind herself but she raised the cup in her hand and took a tiny sip. “Ooooh, it is good. It’s smooth.”

April took another drink and slid down a column of boxes to take a seat on the floor. She looked seriously at Abigail. “I promise. Your job is not in jeopardy. You’re one of the best workers I have. I don’t want to lose you.”

She sipped again and added, “You work all the time and I know nothing more about you than what’s on your application. I’m sorry we’re stuck in the stockroom but I’m glad to get to know you better. Tell me about yourself,” April pried. She done all the investigation she could into Abigail but there were still many details that she couldn’t discover.

“Well, I’m twenty-four. I grew up in Springfield and moved here to go to the university. Unfortunately, it’s very expensive and I’ve had to drop out for a while. I’m not sure that I really want to go to college now. I hate to admit that I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. That’s pretty funny for a twenty-four-year-old to say, huh?” Abigail joked as she took another drink.

“You know, some people choose to never grow up. And that’s okay. They just have to find the right person to take care of them,” April said shrewdly. “Come sit down. We’re going to be here a while.” She waited until Abigail sat on the concrete floor with her back against a stack of boxes near April. “So, what’s your boyfriend’s name?” she probed.

“Oh, I don’t have a boyfriend . . . or a girlfriend. I haven’t figured that one out yet either. I just haven’t seemed to find someone that I trust enough to allow them to get close to me. How about you? Are you married?” Abigail asked naively.

“No, Abigail. I’m not married. I had someone special in my life for a few years but that relationship ended last year. I’d love to find a special person to have in my life,” April shared. “Oh, no! One of the light bulbs is flickering. I haven’t had to change the light bulbs in here. They’re pretty old.” Just then, the flickering light bulb went out leaving just one more light bulb to brighten the stockroom.

  Chapter Three

Abigail set her barely touched cup of wine on the floor. She wrapped her arms around herself and sat silent, looking around at the shadows in the stockroom. Now, it was dimly lit. Abigail had always hated the dark. It just concealed too many scary things.

“Are you all right, Abigail?” April asked worried at the sudden silence from the normally talkative girl.

“Sure, I’m okay,” Abigail answered glancing around her voice got softer. “I just don’t like the dark. How silly is that? It kind of freaks me out.”

Just then, the other light bulb began to flicker. “Oh, no! If that one goes out, we’re going to be here in complete darkness. Ms. Heaven, can’t you think of some way to get us out of here? Please?” Abigail whispered trying to hide her panic but failing miserably.

“I think you can call me April, now. Abigail, scoot over here next to me,” April ordered. She set her partially filled cup between a couple of boxes where it couldn’t be knocked over and waited until Abigail settled herself about a foot away. “Unfortunately, we’re stuck in here. Will you be okay?”

Abigail was shaking watching the last light bulb flicker ominously. With a pop, it died leaving the stockroom in total darkness except for the small strip of white under the locked door from the light in the hall. She clasped one hand over her mouth to muffle her low panicked moan and she began to rock back and forth. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her arm. She screamed!

“Abigail, it’s me, April. I know you’re panicking. I’m here with you. It’s going to be all right,” April reassured the shaking girl. “Come here,” She moved next to Abigail and wrapped her arms around her pulling Abigail close to her body. She began to run a comforting hand down the back of Abigail’s short brown hair. “It’s going to be okay, baby.”

Abigail burrowed as close as possible to April. She could feel April’s long hair against her face. She loved her boss’ long, black hair. Combined with her beautiful green eyes, Abigail thought April was stunning. She knew she shouldn’t be this close to April. It wasn’t a good idea. She’d had a crush on her boss since her interview and had worked hard to keep her distance and not let her attraction be noticed. She started to move away but stopped immediately when April pulled her up on her lap to hold her closely.

“Oh, I can’t sit on your lap. I can sit right next to you,” Abigail stammered as she wiggled to extricate herself from her employer’s lap.

Smack! Abigail froze in place. April had just spanked her bottom. Smack, smack, smack! The spanking continued for several more swats.

“Little girl, I told you to stay where you were,” April reprimanded Abigail sternly. “I don’t put up with Little girls not following directions.”

“But . . . it’s not right for me to be sitting in your lap. You’re my boss!” Abigail whispered furiously trying not to wiggle. She tried to take some deep breaths to calm down. Her panic was receding. That was good but now, her hormones were on overdrive. Being held in April’s arms was, well, like her boss’ last name, Heaven.

“So, you’ve got a rule book? Because I never had a book that sets out the rules about what to do if you’re locked in a stockroom with your boss and the lights go out making you petrified because you’re afraid of the dark,” April soothed her with a soft hand rubbing up and down her back. “There’s no one here to see. I’m not going to fire you or tell anyone. Do you feel better wrapped in my arms sitting here?” April probed.

Abigail froze in place and then, she decided if she was going to lose her job that she was going to enjoy all the time she could have wrapped in April’s arms. Even if she was just comforting her. Abigail relaxed laying her head once again on April’s shoulder. “Yes,” she whispered. Several minutes passed by as Abigail gathered her courage to ask, “Why do you keep calling me a Little girl? I’m twenty-four.”

“Being a Little girl is not an age, Abigail. It’s a desire to have someone take care of them. It’s actually an amazingly strong individual that can relax their self-determination and self-control to allow a trusted individual to make decisions for you. While we’re locked in this room, I’m going to care for you and you’re going to let me because you need my protection and attention,” April explained easily as she held Abigail’s plump body close to her heart. It was a shame that the door had trapped them in this uncomfortable location but she was enjoying the feel of Abigail’s curves pressed against her lean body.

  “You hit me,” Abigail accused.

“No, I spanked your cute bottom. You needed to be corrected. I’ll do it again if needed. I didn’t hurt you permanently, did I?” April was blunt.

“It hurt then, but now, I’m okay,” Abigail answered. A few minutes passed, as she thought about April’s answer. “You think my ass is cute?”

“Watch your language, young lady. You don’t want to escape out of here just to have me wash your mouth out because you’re using crass words,” April corrected. All of Abigail’s reactions to her words and actions seemed to allow April to take more control. April tried to restrain her hopes and emotions. She’d been looking for a Little girl for a long time. Could Abigail be the one? She was lost in thought for several minutes as she held Abigail tightly to her body.

A few more minutes passed and Abiga
il said, “So . . . you think my bottom is cute?”

Immediately, April answered, “You have the cutest bottom I think I’ve ever seen. It is plump and full just begging for the right person to handle it correctly.” She laughed when she heard Abigail’s gasp. “I’m always going to tell you the truth, Abigail. Sometimes the setting is wrong and I’ll have to tell you later, but now, we’re totally alone. You’re either going to tell me that you’re attracted to me too or you’re going to sue me for sexual harassment. Either way, at least I get to hold you in my arms.”

April pulled Abigail against her chest and lowered her mouth to Abigail pink, full lips. Kissing her slowly at first, April deepened the kisses. She began to sweep her tongue into Abigail’s wine flavored mouth as she heard her moan and felt her lips move against her own. Raising her head, she admitted softly, “I’ve wanted to kiss you for a long time.” Dipping her head to press her lips back against Abigail’s at first, April began to nibble and kiss her way over Abigail’s jawline and down to her sensitive neck. April smiled against her neck as Abigail tilted her head back to allow April to have full access to her skin.

“Please, please, don’t stop!” Abigail pleaded. If it wasn’t for the darkened stockroom, she would have believed that she was dreaming. “Was this really happening?” she thought she asked herself in her head. April’s kisses tasted so good. Abigail was thrilled by the feel of being dominated.

“Yes, baby. It’s really happening,” April answered softly.

Abigail flushed bright red. “Sorry, I thought I was talking to myself,” she confessed feeling foolish. Then, she felt April’s long fingers wrap around her ribcage. After squeezing her softly, they began to inch upward. Abigail’s breath caught in her throat.

“No need to be sorry. I always want you to talk to me about how you are feeling. How else would I know? Just let Mommy take care of everything. Can I touch you here?” April asked as her fingers wrapped around one plump breast and squeeze it gently.
